1. If the county hospital is located at the county seat, the board of hospital trustees shall, at all times, provide a suitable room that may be used for the examination of persons who are alleged to be persons in a mental health crisis and who are to be brought before the judge of the district court for proceedings to determine the issue of involuntary court-ordered admission as provided in chapter 433A of NRS. This section does not prohibit or limit the examination of persons alleged to be persons in a mental health crisis at a private hospital as provided in chapter 433A of NRS. 2. The board of trustees of such a county hospital, in cooperation with the local law enforcement agencies, may provide a suitable room that may be used for the custodial supervision of persons who are alleged to: (a) Be persons in a mental health crisis; or (b) Be dangerous to themselves or others.
