'Advanced emergency medical technician' means a person who is: 1. Certified by the health officer as having satisfactorily completed a program of training for certification as an advanced emergency medical technician pursuant to NRS 450B.191; or 2. Practicing as an advanced emergency medical technician in this State under the Recognition of Emergency Medical Services Personnel Licensure Interstate Compact ratified by NRS 450B.145.
