1. 'Dispense' means the furnishing of a dangerous drug in any amount greater than that which is necessary for the present and immediate needs of the ultimate user. 2. The term does not include the furnishing of a dangerous drug by a hospital pharmacy for inpatients. (Added to NRS by 1973, 1197; A 1977, 673; 1979, 594, 1676; 1987, 1657)
