The Chair of the Advisory Committee may appoint groups consisting of members of the Advisory Committee, former members of the Advisory Committee and members of the public who have appropriate experience or knowledge to: 1. Consider specific issues and policy matters that are related to the prevalence, impact, prevention and treatment of problem gambling; and 2. Assist in researching and developing strategic plans to fund and deliver comprehensive programs and services to prevent and treat problem gambling and make recommendations concerning such strategic plans.
