Except as otherwise required by federal law, the provisions of NRS 459.7052 to 459.728, inclusive, and the regulations adopted pursuant thereto do not apply to the transportation of a hazardous material by any vehicle which is owned and operated by the Federal Government, this State or any political subdivision of this State.
