1. Each city and county may enforce this chapter and regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter. If any city or county fails to enforce this chapter, the Division shall enforce it in the territory of that city or county. 2. The governing body of any city or county may adopt an ordinance which is as stringent as or more stringent than the provisions of this chapter. (Added to NRS by 1981, 1236)
