1. Whenever the Board decides to conduct a hearing to determine which disseminator will receive the exclusive right to disseminate a live broadcast for a racing meet to users, the Board shall appoint a hearing panel, consisting of three members, to conduct the hearing. The Commission, with the advice and assistance of the Board, shall prescribe by regulation the qualifications of those members. 2. The members of the panel are entitled to receive the necessary expenses incurred in carrying out their duties as prescribed by the Board. 3. The Board may enter into agreements necessary to provide for the services of the members of the hearing panels appointed pursuant to this section. 4. The Board shall provide from its staff such additional personnel as it deems necessary to carry out the provisions of this section. (Added to NRS by 1987, 1779; A 1991, 1844; 2009, 287)
