1. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3, the Commission may fix, regulate and control the rates to be charged by any disseminator of information concerning racing held at a track which uses the pari-mutuel system of wagering, but the rates must be just and reasonable. 2. The Commission may require any licensee who subscribes to a disseminator’s service to report financial information relating to wagering and amounts won on each track or event, and may publish this information to ensure that the rates are just and reasonable. 3. The provisions of subsection 1 do not apply to the rates to be charged for the dissemination of live broadcasts. (Added to NRS by 1983, 1036; A 1985, 2141; 1987, 1781; 2009, 288)
