Except as otherwise provided in NRS 482.366605, 'used vehicle' means a vehicle that: 1. Has been registered with the Department or with the appropriate agency of authority of any other state, the District of Columbia, any territory or possession of the United States or foreign state, province or country and, if equipped with an odometer, registers more than 2,500 miles on the odometer; or 2. Regardless of mileage, is at least 1 model year old, as determined by the vehicle manufacturer, and has been registered with the Department or with the appropriate agency of authority of any other state, the District of Columbia, any territory or possession of the United States or foreign state, province or country for 30 days or more, if no exemptions for registration exist under the laws of this State or the laws of the jurisdiction in which the vehicle was registered.
