1. No later than 30 days before the expiration of a license, the Department shall mail to each licensee who has not already renewed his or her license an expiration notice. 2. The Department may require an applicant for a renewal license successfully to pass such additional tests as the Department finds reasonably necessary to determine the applicant’s qualification according to the type or class of license applied for.
