Except as otherwise provided in NRS 483.651, 483.655 and 483.657, the information regarding an emergency contact person submitted by a registrant for inclusion in the Next-of-Kin Registry is: 1. Confidential; 2. To be used or accessed only as authorized pursuant to NRS 483.641 to 483.663, inclusive; 3. Not a public record for the purposes of chapter 239 of NRS; and 4. Not discoverable by any person, entity or governmental agency except upon the issuance of a subpoena by a grand jury or a court order in a criminal matter.
