1. Tow cars used to tow vehicles shall be equipped with and carry a rear lamp, a stop lamp and a portable electric extension cord for use in displaying the lamp on the rear of the disabled vehicle. 2. Whenever a disabled vehicle is towed, the tow car operator shall connect and display such lamps, or a combination of them, on the rear of the disabled vehicle by means of the extension cord.
