1. The Department may offer a reward for one or more classes of wildlife, not to exceed $1,000, for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person who unlawfully kills or possesses wildlife of the class specified. The reward must be paid for each person so arrested and convicted upon the conviction. The reward must be distributed equally among the persons who supplied the information which led to the arrest and conviction. 2.
