Immediately upon the entry of any decree by the court, the county clerk shall transmit a certified copy of the decree to the State Engineer, who shall immediately enter the same upon the records of the Office of the State Engineer. The decree, subject only to the provisions of law relating to appeal and stay of proceedings, shall be in full force and effect. [37:140:1913; A 1915, 378; 1919 RL p. 3234; NCL § 7927]
