1. No election for any purpose except for organization shall be held in any irrigation district without registration. 2. If an elector is currently registered on or registers after July 1, 1967, and remains eligible, the elector shall not be required to reregister in order to vote at any succeeding election, but before the elector shall be permitted to vote at such election, if the elector shall not have reregistered therefor, the elector shall be required to take and subscribe the registration oath before the board of election, on a form provided by the district, as evidence of the elector’s continued eligibility.
