Any signer of a petition to recall a director of a district may, at any time within 5 days after the filing of the petition with the secretary of the irrigation district, have his or her name stricken from the petition by filing a written request therefor with the secretary of the district. His or her name shall thereupon not be considered as a signer of the petition. [Part 3:186:1927; NCL § 8208]
