The board of directors is empowered to expend not to exceed the sum of $1,500 in any 1 year for the purpose of exploiting the resources of the irrigation district. Such moneys shall be raised by a tax levy and shall be payable out of the general fund. [78:64:1919; added 1929, 286; NCL § 8096]
