1. Not less than 50 days after the filing with the board of an application in writing by a qualified elector of the district or after the board has of its own initiative and by resolution declared its intention of excluding any land or lands from the district, and after having first given notice as prescribed in NRS 539.738, the board shall meet and consider the matter and shall order or deny the exclusion of the lands in whole or in part. 2. A copy of the order of the board shall be published for two issues 1 week apart in some newspaper published in the county in which the land is situated. (Added to NRS by 1967, 1617)
