1. The Chief: (a) Must be selected with special reference to his or her training, experience, capability and interest in the field of water resource planning. (b) Shall coordinate the activities of the Section. 2. The Chief is responsible for the administration of all provisions of law relating to the functions of the Section. 3. The Chief, with the approval of the State Engineer, may employ, within the limits of legislative appropriations, such staff as is necessary to the performance of his or her duties.
