The board of directors of a rodent control district may: 1. With the approval of the Director, appoint a rodent control officer. 2. Receive and expend any money provided by assessment, voluntary contribution or otherwise for the control of rodents in the district. 3. Exercise any other power necessary or proper to carry out the purposes for which the district exists. 4. Elect a chair from among its members, and secretary who may be a member of the board.
