1. The operator of a public livestock auction may apply to the Department for a change of the weekly or monthly sales day or days specified in the operator’s license. The application is subject to a hearing and approval by the Director. 2. A special sale must not be conducted by the operator of a public livestock auction unless the operator has applied to the Department in writing 15 days before the proposed sale and the date of the sale is approved by the Director.
