1. A retailer, dealer or operator shall not separate a dog or cat from its mother until it is 8 weeks of age or accustomed to taking food or nourishment other than by nursing, whichever is later. 2. A person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Added to NRS by 1993, 2151; A 2009, 2020; 2011, 1608)
