1. If a business accepts a driver’s license or identification card issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles for the purpose of identifying a customer, the business shall not refuse to accept a permanent resident card for the same purpose. 2. As used in this section, 'permanent resident card' means a Permanent Resident Card issued by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services of the Department of Homeland Security.
