A person engages in a 'deceptive trade practice' when, in the course of his or her business or occupation, he or she disseminates an unsolicited prerecorded message to solicit a person to purchase goods or services by telephone and he or she does not have a preexisting business relationship with the person being called unless a recorded or unrecorded natural voice: 1. Informs the person who answers the telephone call of the nature of the call; and 2. Provides to the person who answers the telephone call the name, address and telephone number of the business or organization, if any, represented by the caller. (Added to NRS by 1999, 3332)
