1. 'Employer-integrated earned wage access provider' means a person who is engaged in the business of offering to provide or providing employer-integrated earned wage access services. 2. The term does not include payroll service providers, including, without limitation, payroll service providers whose role may include verifying the available earnings but who are not contractually obligated to fund earned wage access service proceeds to a user.
