1. An insurer shall provide to the Administrator upon written request only information in its possession which is necessary for the enforcement of any provision of this chapter or chapter 616A, 616C, 616D or 617 of NRS, or any regulation or standard adopted pursuant thereto, within 30 days after the date of the request. The written request must specifically indicate: (a) What information is being requested; and (b) The statute, regulation or standard adopted pursuant thereto for which the information is needed. 2. Upon the receipt of a written request from an insurer, the Administrator may extend the time within which information must be provided if good cause for granting the extension is shown.
