1. The Attorney General may prosecute all criminal actions for the violation of any of the provisions of NRS 616D.200, 616D.220, 616D.240, 616D.300, 616D.310 or 616D.350 to 616D.440, inclusive. The commencement of a civil action by the Attorney General pursuant to NRS 616D.230 or 616D.430 or for the recovery of any civil penalties, fines, fees or assessments imposed pursuant to the provisions of chapters 616A to 616D, inclusive, or chapter 617 of NRS does not preclude the prosecution of a criminal action by the Attorney General pursuant to this section. 2. Upon request, any person shall furnish to the Attorney General information which would assist in the prosecution of any person alleged to have violated any of the provisions of NRS 616D.200, 616D.220, 616D.240, 616D.300, 616D.310 or 616D.350 to 616D.440, inclusive.
