1. A person shall not engage in the practice of landscape architecture or use the title of 'landscape architect' or 'landscape architect intern' unless the person is issued a certificate of registration or certificate to practice as a landscape architect intern by the Board pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. 2. If an applicant complies with the provisions of this chapter and is otherwise qualified to engage in the practice of landscape architecture, the Board shall, upon payment by the applicant of the applicable fees prescribed by the Board pursuant to the provisions of NRS 623A.240, issue to the applicant a certificate of registration or certificate to practice as a landscape architect intern. If a certificate of registration or certificate to practice as a landscape architect intern is issued after the beginning of the fiscal year, the Board may prorate the fee that the applicant must pay for that year pursuant to those provisions. 3. Each certificate of registration must include the complete name of the holder of the certificate, the number of the certificate, and the signatures of the President and Secretary of the Board.
