1. Advertisements and solicitations for work concerning a residential photovoltaic system used to produce electricity must be truthful and not materially misleading. 2. A person who makes an advertisement or solicitation for work concerning a residential photovoltaic system used to produce electricity shall not expressly or implicitly state that the person will perform the work, enter into a contract, express or implied, to perform the work or act as a contractor to perform the work unless the person holds: (a) A license issued pursuant to this chapter which authorizes the person to perform the work; or (b) Any other license, certificate, registration or permit under state law which authorizes the person to perform the work, as provided pursuant to NRS 624.860. 3. A contractor shall not cause to be published or display any advertisement that does not comply with the standards adopted by the Board pursuant to subsection 4. 4. The Board shall adopt by regulation standards for advertisements used by contractors in connection with the solicitation or sale of contracts for work concerning residential photovoltaic systems used to produce electricity.
