'Practice of environmental health' means the use of public health principles in the application of the sanitary sciences to prevent human injury and illness by: 1. Identifying and evaluating hazardous physical, chemical and biological agents that may adversely affect human health and the environmental sources of those agents; and 2. Limiting exposures to those agents in air, water, soil, food and other environmental media or settings. (Added to NRS by 2005, 1985; A 2019, 2115)
