Each private professional guardian company which is licensed pursuant to this chapter may, in the conduct of its business activities, within and outside this State, as applicable: 1. Act under the order or appointment of any court as guardian. 2. Accept and execute any activities and duties relating to the business of a private professional guardian as permitted by any law. 3. Exercise the powers of a corporation, partnership or limited-liability company organized or qualified as a foreign corporation, partnership or limited-liability company under the laws of this State and any incidental powers that are reasonably necessary to enable it to exercise, in accordance with commonly accepted customs and usages, a power conferred by this chapter. 4. Perform any act authorized by this chapter and any other applicable laws of this State. (Added to NRS by 2015, 2355)
