Statute 62b 380

1. If a child is charged with a minor traffic offense, the juvenile court may transfer the case and record to a Justice Court or municipal court if the juvenile court determines that the transfer is in the best interests of the child. 2. If a case is transferred pursuant to this section: (a) The restrictions set forth in NRS 62C.030 are applicable in those proceedings; and (b) A parent or guardian must accompany the child at all proceedings. 3. If the juvenile court transfers a case and record to a Justice Court or municipal court pursuant to this section, the Justice Court or municipal court may transfer the case and record back to the juvenile court with the consent of the juvenile court.
