1. The juvenile court may order the parent or guardian of a child to refrain from engaging in or continuing any conduct which the juvenile court believes has caused or tended to cause the child to become subject to the jurisdiction of the juvenile court. 2. If the child is less than 18 years of age, the juvenile court may order: (a) The parent or guardian of the child; and (b) Any sibling or other person who is living in the same household as the child over whom the juvenile court has jurisdiction, to attend or participate in counseling, with or without the child, including, but not limited to, counseling regarding parenting skills, alcohol or substance use disorders, or techniques of dispute resolution.
