Statute 62g 350

1. The director of the department of juvenile justice services shall appoint one probation officer as the chief probation officer. 2. Under the general supervision of the director of the department of juvenile justice services and with the advice of the probation committee, the chief probation officer shall: (a) Organize, direct and develop the administrative work, including, but not limited to, the social, financial and clerical work, of the department of juvenile justice services and each local facility for the detention of children; and (b) Perform such other duties as the director of the department of juvenile justice services directs.
