1. The Division of Child and Family Services shall annually analyze the information submitted to the Division pursuant to NRS 62H.210 to determine: (a) Juvenile justice system trends, including, without limitation, referrals to the juvenile justice system, diversion and disposition of cases, levels of supervision provided to children, placement of children and programs and services offered to children; (b) Whether children of racial or ethnic minorities or children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are receiving disparate treatment in the juvenile justice system; (c) The effectiveness of the different levels of supervision in the juvenile justice system; (d) The effectiveness of services provided by the juvenile justice system, including, without limitation, the effectiveness of the evidence-based standards developed by the Commission pursuant to NRS 62B.615; and (e) The rates of recidivism for children either supervised by local juvenile probation departments or committed to the Division. 2. On or before January 31 of each year, the Division shall submit to the Governor and to the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal to the Legislature a report d to the Division. 2.
