In addition to the other requirements for licensure, an applicant for a license to practice medicine who is a graduate of a medical school located in the United States or Canada shall submit to the Board proof that the applicant has received the degree of doctor of medicine from a medical school which, at the time of graduation, was accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or the Committee for the Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools. The proof of the degree of doctor of medicine must be submitted directly to the Board by the medical school that granted the degree.
