1. The Board shall authorize the administration of the examination of applicants for certification as nursing assistants. 2. The Board may employ, contract with or cooperate with any person in the preparation, administration and grading of a uniform national examination, but, except as otherwise provided in NRS 622.090, shall retain sole discretion and responsibility for determining the standards of successful completion of the examination. 3. The Board shall determine whether an examination may be repeated and the frequency of authorized reexaminations. 4. If an applicant fails the examination three times, the applicant must repeat the training program prescribed in NRS 632.2856. (Added to NRS by 1989, 2010; A 1991, 320; 2007, 2947)
