1. The Board or any person designated by the Board may certify to all official acts and issue subpoenas for attendance of witnesses and the production of books and papers relating to any investigation or hearing conducted by the Board. 2. In any investigation or hearing in any part of the State the process issued by the Board extends to all parts of the State and may be served by any person authorized to serve process of courts of record or by certified mail to the last known address of the witness. 3. The person serving the process is entitled to receive the compensation allowed by the Board, which must not exceed the fees prescribed by law for similar services.
