1. The Board shall immediately notify the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services if the Board identifies a sentinel event which is required to be reported by a medical facility pursuant to NRS 439.835. 2. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 239.0115, any information provided to the Division of Public and Behavioral Health pursuant to this section relating to the identification of a sentinel event is confidential, not subject to subpoena or discovery and not subject to inspection by the general public.
