1. The Board shall not issue a license to practice osteopathic medicine to an applicant who has been licensed to practice any type of medicine in another jurisdiction and whose license was revoked for gross medical negligence by that jurisdiction. 2. The Board may revoke the license of any person licensed to practice osteopathic medicine in this State if it determines that the person had a license to practice any type of medicine in another jurisdiction which was revoked for gross medical negligence by that jurisdiction. 3. The revocation of a license to practice any type of medicine in another jurisdiction on grounds other than grounds which would constitute revocation for gross medical negligence constitutes grounds for initiating disciplinary action or denying the issuance of a license. 4. For the purposes of this section, the Board shall adopt by regulation a definition of gross medical negligence. (Added to NRS by 1991, 1072)
