The provisions of this chapter do not apply to any person who: 1. Holds a current credential issued by the Department of Education pursuant to chapter 391 of NRS and any regulations adopted pursuant thereto and engages in the practice of audiology or speech-language pathology within the scope of that credential; 2. Is employed by the Federal Government and engages in the practice of audiology or speech-language pathology within the scope of that employment; 3. Is a student enrolled in a program or school approved by the Board, is pursuing a degree in audiology or speech-language pathology and is clearly designated to the public as a student; or 4. Holds a current license issued pursuant to chapters 630 to 637, inclusive, 640 to 641D, inclusive, or 653 of NRS, and who does not engage in the private practice of audiology or speech-language pathology in this State.
