1. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 41.500, a person licensed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall not provide medical assistance, treatment or counsel to a human being. Such conduct is a ground for disciplinary action. 2. The Board shall immediately suspend the license of a person who violates the provisions of this section. 3. Any person who violates the provisions of this section is guilty of a category D felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130. 4. The Board may report an alleged violation of this section to the Attorney General or any district attorney. Upon receiving a report from the Board, the Attorney General or district attorney shall institute necessary proceedings in a court of competent jurisdiction against the person responsible for the alleged violation of this section.
