The Legislature finds and declares that: 1. The practice of massage therapy, reflexology and structural integration by persons who do not possess sufficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology or an understanding of the relationship between the structure and function of the tissues being treated and the total function of the body may endanger the health, welfare and safety of the residents of this State. 2. To protect the residents of this State, it is necessary to license and regulate the practice of massage therapy, reflexology and structural integration. (Added to NRS by 2005, 1119; A 2017, 1452)
