1. The Board of Examiners for Social Workers consists of five members appointed by the Governor. 2. Four members appointed to the Board must be licensed or eligible for licensure pursuant to this chapter, except the initial members who must be eligible for licensure. 3. One member appointed to the Board must be a representative of the general public. This member must not be: (a) Licensed or eligible for licensure pursuant to this chapter; or (b) The spouse or the parent or child, by blood, marriage or adoption, of a person who is licensed or eligible for licensure pursuant to this chapter.
