1. If an applicant for a license to engage in social work is a graduate of a college or university located in a foreign country or currently enrolled in program of study leading to a degree in social work at such a college or university, the application must include: (a) Proof that the applicant possesses the degree required by NRS 641B.220, 641B.225, 641B.230, 641B.240 or 641B.275, as applicable, or is enrolled in a program of study that meets the requirements of NRS 641B.275, as applicable; and (b) If applicable, a written statement or other proof from the Council on Social Work Education, or its successor organization, that the degree is equivalent to a degree issued by a college or university accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, or its successor organization. 2. Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the proof required by paragraph (a) of subsection 1 must be provided to the Board directly by the college or university that granted the degree. If the college or university is unable to provide such proof, the Board may accept proof from another source specified by the Board. (Added to NRS by 2021, 3492)
