1. The Board shall charge and collect a biennial fee from each holder of a license or certificate issued by the Board pursuant to chapter 451 or 452 of NRS. 2. The Board shall adopt regulations which establish the biennial fee in an amount that is sufficient in the aggregate, together with the fees received from applicants during the previous biennium, to defray the Board’s necessary expenses in performing its duties pursuant to chapters 451 and 452 of NRS. 3. Except as otherwise provided in NRS 452.340, 642.300, 642.350 and 642.450, any license, permit or certificate issued or renewed by the Board pursuant to this chapter or chapter 451 or 452 of NRS must be renewed on a biennial basis on January 1 of each even-numbered year in accordance with the applicable provisions of this chapter or chapter 451 or 452 of NRS.
