1. The owner of a direct cremation facility located in this State shall not operate or allow another person to operate the facility unless the owner holds a valid permit issued by the Board to operate the direct cremation facility. 2. If a person owns more than one direct cremation facility, the person must submit an application and obtain a permit for the operation of each direct cremation facility that he or she owns that is located in this State.
