1. A person licensed as a funeral director must complete 12 hours of continuing education in a field relevant to the funeral industry before renewal of his or her license and maintain proof of completion of those hours for a period of 5 years. 2. A person licensed as both a funeral director and embalmer must complete a combined total of 12 hours of continuing education courses to renew both licenses. 3. The Board may request proof of completion of the continuing education required pursuant to this section before renewing a license as a funeral director. (Added to NRS by 2015, 1951)
