1. The Board may provide for a temporary authorization for an applicant for a license, certificate or permit issued by the Board pursuant to this chapter or chapter 451 or 452 of NRS. The temporary authorization allows an applicant who has satisfied the requirements of and paid the applicable fees for the license, certificate or permit to carry out the duties authorized by the license, certificate or permit. 2. The temporary authorization is effective during the period which begins upon issuance by the Board and ends when the Board takes action on the application for the license, certificate or permit.
