1. Each licensed barber and each licensed apprentice who continues in active practice or service shall biennially, on or before April 1 of each even-numbered year, renew the license and pay the required fee. The Board shall fix the fee for renewal of a license, which must not be more than $60. All information required to complete the renewal must be submitted with the fee. Every license which has not been renewed before May 1 of an even-numbered year expires on that date. 2. A licensed barber or a licensed apprentice whose license has expired may have the license restored immediately upon payment of the required restoration fee and submission of all required information at any time within 2 years after the expiration of the license.
